I did read the rules and it said:

"4. Players may dock, but not "camp", their characters in enemy territory...."

No if's, but's or maybe's.

if u challenge enemy forces in their territory, u mustn't dock in that system, but use a respawn point in a neutral or an own system.

Can this be put in the rules? What is the point of having a set of rule if they are not complete. We are told to read the rules, we do and we are still getting it wrong!

Why not just ban docking in hostile territory? Simple and easy.

As i was informed and i ask CA about - docking in ememy terretory is allowed - but not camping.
I am not aware of this and this should be cleared out - as i dont have now a final agreement about this issue.

It would seem sensible to have the rule that no docking is allowed in enemy territory.

The defending side should have some sort of advantage and if there opponents have to re-spawn in a neighbouring system, well that seems like an advantage to the defenders. It might be to great an advantage, having never played in one of these before I can only guess.

It also seems logical that if a system is an ASF territory then it is under the control of the ASF. So the whole place should be hostile to their enemies, the CSF.

The rules say differently, at the moment so either way we need a decision as it was causing a lot of confusing.

For normal Gameplay you can dock but the other side will chase you.

In a battle you are not allowed to do so. Thats have been always the advantage from the defenders.

And imO it was in the old ASF/CSF Rules.

Docking is allowed in enemy territory, but not camping. We have been operating under this premise the last 2 attempts at this RP now. If I had any say in it, the oldest set of ASF/CSF RP rules from 2 years ago would be removed from the SWAT board, but it remains. Those rules were abandoned as unworkable, because it always took an attorney on each side a full hour to arrange everything just so, before combat could even begin!

We only care about the 9 rules from last year, as amended by the 7 points we just finished negotiating. Any more than this, and we toss the whole thing out the window, because we need to put every pilot thru law school again

At the beginning of each week-long contest, each faction's territory is laid out on the RRS. Those teritories do not change hands until the RRS does system tallies at the end of the week. Any changes in system control will remain until the next event. So after today's actions, Sigma 13 remains an ASF territory, and CSF are not allowed to camp there, just as ASF are not allowed to camp in Sigma 19.

We really do not need formal rules for disengaging combat, since the players' fatigue will do that automatically. At some point in the sequence of events, one side or the other may have scored enough system victories to declare a campaign winner, and we can reset the RRS back to baseline.

Ok Command Decision: All ASF Forces will obey the new rules set forth by Centaurian. Using old rules is not permitted in any case. If CSF wants to be dishonorable (as some of them are) and use old rules to gain the advantage, then let them.

We will use only ONE SET of rules and those are the ones that CA has currently written.
